I did it! For 16 weeks I worked out as often as possible and did at a minimum 7 sessions every week.

By the end I was doing 15 exercise sessions a week. My body composition has changed dramatically and I'm fitter than I've ever been.

For anyone looking to get in better shape the best advice I can give you is do what you feel comfortable doing each day. I didn't start out doing 7 sessions a week. Before this commitment, I was doing 3-4 low impact cardio sessions each week and gradually worked my way up.

A lot of people kill themselves trying to get fit the first week and give it up. Do what works for you and add or subtract from it as needed.

Strength training for an hour to an hour and a half and saving high-calorie meals for pre and post-training sessions for me. But maybe anaerobic and a vegan diet will work better for you.

Lastly, your body is going to do what it wants to do. I'm lucky that I tend to put on muscle and fat quickly which means that working out more and timing my meals had a huge effect, but your body might only want to put on fat, or can't put on fat or muscle. Be happy knowing you did something good for your body every day. That way when your gains and losses are going in the direction you want you'll have the energy to keep going.

Great first week. Hit cardio almost every day and weight trained when I couldn't.
