- Make a list of probing questions that can be used to add depth and breadth to group discussions.
- Use the thinking routine connect-extend-challenge to connect new ideas to prior knowledge and help take stock of ongoing questions, puzzles and difficulties during reflection time. - Regularly check all class work against targets/success criteria - does the output reflect potential?

| I have worked towards completing my goals, and I have done this. We had a discussion where I joined in and asked questions. I have continued to use the thinking routine to help me across subject. And I have reflected on my past work and saw how I could improve. | |

I am still dying to have group discussions, because we do not have these often, meaning I cannot complete this goal. |

| I have tried using the thinking routine to help me solve puzzles and questions in class. I have used it because in IMYC we are learning about Vietnamese street children and reading the news more often could improve my understanding of this and it could make my Global awareness better. | |
