It's been an incredible week for me financially. I was already feeling in control at the start of the week but now I feel as if I'll never be out of control again - I've just written that because I've had that feeling before and then sabotaged all my good work in the next couple of months, so that is a warning to myself. Once on top - stay on top.

So all the money that has been owed tome has all come in at the same time - which is great but I mustn't lose sight of what it's for....reimbursing what I've spent to keep me in the "Black".

So let's get to the scores, for the week, before I lose the plot:
1) Current Account in Credit: A+, 2) No wasteful spend: A+, 3) People owing me money: A++. Therefore, I give myself the following Grade:A+

I'm really chuffed. I have just spent ages updating my Spend Tracker Spreadsheet because I had lots of reimbursements come in at once and I was almost overwhelmed by it. Not only have I now received the payment back for the Cricket Tickets but I did some work for a friend's company and he's paid me (within a day!) what I should be earning for doing the Graphics work I do, so I feel good about that (he still maintains I didn't charge him enough - but I would have if he wasn't a good friend).

Also, I had a job come in from a client, I've worked with a while, and I could have ended up paying in advance for the T-shirts she wants (leaving me massively out of pocket) but, because I asked her to pay up-front, I am now in a really good position to organise her work without fear.

I am up to date, everything adds up and it's all really positive right now.

Another decent week of financial control. I did spend rather alot on drinks on Saturday at our gig, for other people, but it was such a good night and my family were there, so I felt I'd like to treat them.

I have received confirmation that the match tickets for the Cricket event have been refunded -although I'm not on the case to find out why they haven't refunded the VAT of £40 - we'll see about that. I do need to give my family their share back, when it lands in my account, but I have a note of that and I know how much I am owed too, so that's a good thing.

I have a fair amount of Tangerine business to claim although I wasn't asked to supply a quote and don't know how much to charge as it's for a friend's business and I spent 3 full days on the project. Terry suggests I ask him to pay me what he thinks it's worth. I'll ask him tomorrow.

So, to the Results for the week:
1) Current Account in Credit: A, 2) No wasteful spend: B, 30 People owing me money: A. Therefore, I give myself the following Grade: A

A really good week so far. I'm sticking to my guns and making sure I'm not wasting money on frivolous things but have been measured and have bought things that I think will help both me and the band. I do have some big expenses this month, but I'm ready for them. Having checked against this time each month in the past, I am doing much better as well.
Here are my results for the week:
1) Current Account in Credit: A, 2) No wasteful spend: A, 3) People owing me money: A. Therefore, I give myself the following Grade: A
