One of the nights I marked as successful, I got to bed at 12:20. I was on track to finish on time, but then I spaced out while transitioning from flossing to brushing and lost 10-15 minutes trimming my nails. I figured that that was understandable because I hadn't been thinking of the time when I started and because I'd been doing well almost all the way to the end of the process.

I screwed up very badly on Sunday night and then screwed up somewhat badly on Monday night.
On top of that, I was sloppy on Tuesday night and got to bed 20min after midnight.
Then, I had an accident on Thursday which interfered with me using earbuds in both ears to block out noise when trying to go to sleep, so I stayed up for hours on Thursday and Saturday nights.
More importantly (from the perspective of this incentive structure), I had another unforced error on Friday night where I was sloppy again and got to bed 20min after midnight
