I commit to coding everyday for 1 hour a day, for an entire year. If for some reason I do not code for 1 hour one day, the only possible exception is that I had absolutely no control over it.

This is basically just an update for specifically sticK, because I haven’t done anything on here for several months. After I first started this commitment, I completed it for about 1.5 months, then stopped coding completely for about 4 months, then started again but not 1 hour each day. I stopped coding for those 4 months because I had been almost forcing myself to code and was sick of it, and I needed a break. Then I got back into in late December of 2019, and completed my 2019 New Years resolution by creating a video game. It took me 3 days. Now with coding, I just code whenever I want to. I did what I strived for with this commitment; to be able to code most of what I need to. I’ve moved on from coding to learning about the brain. With coding, I’d like to learn automation techniques and machine learning. But right now I’ve centered my focus around learning about the brain, and things are going well with that. |

| About 1 or 2 weeks ago, I decided that it was just too hard to motivate myself to code. I just really did not enjoy coding anymore, and for now where I got my programming skill level to be is fine. If I need to learn more I'll learn more. So I've decided that I should do this type of commitment, where I learn about the subject for at least one hour a day everyday for as long as I can, but with something else. I feel like I need something fresh to learn about. So currently where I am with my ultimate goal is finding out what I'm going to learn next, and what I should learn next. | |

| I’ve decided that I should really go back to this commitment, it was a mistake to stop. Cinewulf you were probably right about everything you told me. Although since I’m about to go to sleep and I will not have accomplished the goal today, I will try and go for as long as I can starting again tomorrow. It might be harder though to complete the goal because I have school now. | |
