Let's try better next time. I have neglected to renew some of my stickk challenges around work and life, so I have little to do when I get up—well, that's not entirely true; there are many aversive things to do these days that I don't want to wake up to. I will intersperse the things that I do like to do among them to mitigate my resistance to them. |

So for two days I slept went back to bed after rising and listening to my audio book (which has turned out to be an excellent reinforcer), because I was so tired (having slept only 3 or 4 hours) that I felt I couldn't function without at least an extra half hour. Half hour, though, turns into one, and two, and suddenly I have set back my entire day. On the 13th I did one of my programmed activities before going back so it would count as staying up, but because I got up so much later after, I counted it as going back to sleep. I did get up at 5:00am initially on both days, though. Scenarios like this are why I have the Awareness Record. |

The interval of interest is August 2nd to August 9th. I'm listening to an interesting audiobook that gives me something to look forward to when I get up, so I am less miserable. Until the book is over, at least. |
