Yes! Again, for the most part this is easy. I should really take this as a general rule of life not just for 7 weeks. The balance is excellent! So yep I was tempted last Sunday but resisted. It really pushes me to a 90% better relationship with alcohol, whilst not depriving me of some enjoyable drinks on occasion etc. I can tweak the rule a bit, for example proper holidays are acceptable too to drink in the future. But that doesn't include partner meetings when I'm by myself etc. And on the other side, events when I'd drink. whack, like the evening of a partner meeting or whatever, there's a good shout just to avoid those. Anyway, all that is for the future. For now, this has been achieved. |

Of course I did it! It's amazing how effortless this is! And my God so effective. Its effective at NOT putting weight on. By itself it's probably not going to lose me any weight. But as I know all too well, I put on multiple pounds of fat over this last year. It would have probably 80% stopped that. So great I've got here now. |

Done! And really, it wasn't at all difficult. Wow. I even spent much of the partners meeting meal without alcohol, even though I could have it in company. Indeed it just shows you the potential for alcohol, because I still drunk in the end about half a bottle of red wine even thought I didn't start until half way through the meal and I was drinking slowly. I also avoided it last night , with Dad, when again it would be OK (I could have squeezed in one drink or two, but the calorie limit was getting close). |
