Friday (today) I did only weight training on my lower body. It kept my heart rate around 100-145. I did 10 regular bodyweight squats to warm up. Then I did three sets each of squats while holding 15-lb weights (20-10-10 reps), lateral leg-raises with the yellow resistance band (20-10-10), clamshells with the yellow resistance band (10-10-10), lying leg-raises with yellow resistance band (10-10-10), tabletop glute pulses (10-10 with resistance band, 10 without), "fire hydrants" (10-10-10 reps), glute bridges with 15-lb kettlebell weight over my hips (10-10-10), sumo squat with 15-lb kettlebell (10-10-10), and deadlifts with the 45-lb EZ-grip-bar (10-10-10). Did all as a circuit, jumping jacks at end of circuit, and started new round. Lasted 30 minutes. HR stayed 95-135 bpm. |
