Mon 20th April: SUCCESS ✅ Woke-up at 1.45pm, so was up by my committed time of 2pm.
But, didn't start exercise by then, as had been planning on doing yoga in the conservatory (which is pretty quick to get ready for), but mum was sitting nearby on a phone call, so I decided to shower & go for a walk instead. In future, I need to get up earlier to leave longer to give me time to decide what kind of exercise to do based on what's going on (what the weather's like, what my parents are doing and if that clashes with what I want to do etc.) I'll also talk to them the night before so we can plan how to work around each other if possible.
Confession: I got to bed seriously later than I should have; another reason I only got up 15 mins before the deadline. I went to bed at almost 8am, even later than my usual time lately of around 6am! 🙄 My aim for tonight is to go to bed at 4am and wake-up at 12pm, giving me an hour to get myself sorted and start exercising before my deadline of 1pm. That will be a big improvement on my schedule lately, shifting it two hours earlier; a step in the right direction. |
