| I've been very pleased with my play the last few days. I think I'm slowly building up positive habits of proper calculation and reflection on my positions, and much less superficial assessments and impulsive moves. There is a slight downside to all this, as I am experiencing a little more time trouble, but it's a trade-off I can live with because I think the speed will come as my overall strength grows. | |

| Things are going well. I play a single game either 30 15 (or slower) or a 15 10. I then analyze these each day as my chess study. I do other things, but playing these games help to assuage any urges I have toward playing blitz. | |

| Day 2 and I completed my morning standard game with time control 30 15. I made a few mistakes and I'm motivated to find them so I can stamp them out. No time for blitz!!! | |
