| Started with the AllyNudge this week and learning from Dr. Akilah Cadet founder of Change Cadet. This week was focused on being able to explain terms to others and increasing my confidence and ability to do this. Trevor Noah and Dr. Cadet explained workplace racism and discrimination and tasked followers with taking action in your own work place to follow up on BLM promises/statements made by leaders a few months ago. I am not currently employed but sent the template emails to a few friends who I check in with about what their companies are doing/saying so they can send to their higher ups. | |

| Read Toni Morrison's "The Bluest Eye". Had my own book club, and involved a few friends in discussions about how the color white is a majority in our culture: from the media, books, ads. Had we noticed it in every facet? Journaled about her book for the week and researched other meanings and interpretations. | |
