Okay, I don’t feel like I’ve been getting a lot out of meditation lately. I think it was partially because my schedule was so f’ed up at work for a while, but now that my schedule will hopefully be consistent, I can meditate more consistently. If I renew my meditation commitment, I might try to schedule specific times where I can meditate each day. It might also help to try different meditations outside of Headspace, like Stoic meditation, and to practice some unguided and/or with bells. Just explore. |

Eh, I just did a short 5-minute meditation this morning, but I feel alright. Sometimes I feel like the short, breathing-focused sessions do more for me than the the longer, visualization-based ones. XP |

Hmm, I feel bad, but I don’t feel like meditation has been very effective for me lately. I did this late in the day, so that be one thing, but even when I do it in the morning, or for a longer session, it just feels like a chore I don’t really benefit from. Maybe I need some more instruction? Who knows. I’ll have to look into it more. Maybe I’m just not doing it right. |

Okay, I did it again, but for 15 minutes instead of 10, and I just did a basic again. It was pretty nice, but maybe a bit too noisy in the house. Maybe it would be better to do it early in the morning when it’s still quiet, but crap if I have a hard time doing that. I’ll just keep experimenting. |
