| Meditated while caffeinated.... felt like meditation was more useful than normal, as there were more thoughts popping up to gently let be swept away, but also pretty unpleasant- buzzing sensations, dizziness, slight nausea, etc. Had a bought of pretty extreme vertigo near the end of my session, was able to not resist and just notice but still less pleasant than not having vertigo. Still a little dizzy now a few minutes after meditation | |

| Missed two days, back in the saddle today. Just did ten mindful breaths to get back into it- the hardest one to find motivation to do for me is often the first one back after missing a day or a couple. Noticed very different mental feeling today, I think mostly because I'm caffeinated today | |

| 8/6 and 8/7 I meditated late in the day vs first thing in the morning, and had so many more distracting thoughts. Not sure if it's optimal to meditate first think to have a clearer mind, or at the end of the day to help clear a cluttered mind. I think the answer is meditating at different times is better for different things- morning might be best for practicing, getting deeper into meditation, and evening might be better for relaxing. I am going to try a morning and evening meditation tomorrow to see if the evening is still so cluttered | |
