Today I contacted the man who set up this entire program and offered some thanks, as it was part of the challenge today to reach out to someone who has been inspiring your recent journey. I couldn’t think of anyone better.
I actually got a tiny bit sick today, just in my throat, and is probably a sign I went too far recently with exercise, and stretched myself thin. Also my sleep has suffered this past weekend, and this is likely a major factor as to why I’ve upset the immune balance. But “sickness makes you stronger” and “self-care is health-care” - I’ll be better for it once it has moved on.
A full moon tonight. The Harvest Moon. Perhaps that adds to the tension I feel in my head, who’s to say... or is it the present climate in current affairs? Likely a mixture.
Final few days now! Not long until we finish the program and finally reach the starting line, where my journey will continue into the unknown, without a map or trail to guide my way forward, only my intuition and instinct. I will enjoy these final days of guidance before my unofficial initiation into the realm of Masculinity, to become a man, well and truly. Just like Alex Jones. But less Texan, more Brummy and a little slimmer - no offence. I don’t eat jalapeños during the break, so there you go. My secret diet fix. 🥳 |

Not long to go now... and all this just to reach the starting line! But totally worth it. I feel fit, healthy and active, much more willing to commit myself to things and generally less temperamental. All in all, things be going well, so they are. |

So frustrating when I forget to report and I've actually completed everything... alas! 'Tis my fault. Keeping up with everything. Today and yesterday require DOUBLE the number of push-ups, so knocking out 200 has been revealing! It's amazing what we're capable of when we compound our field of focus. It couldn't feel more natural. But if I woke up one random morning with no specific framework in mind and asked myself to do 200 pushups, I'd probably laugh it off! |

I haven't made a post for nearly a week, but they were getting repetitive and the main core reflection is being done in my notebook, so I've just been submitting the report and doing the bare minimum. This doesn't carry across to how well I'm doing in the program! I've been hitting the mark every day. For sure, some days have been more difficult than others, for example today there was a requirement for 200 push-ups - double the number as usual. I've nearly finished those and also managed to go for a jog and work out this afternoon, all while working on my job-hunt game.
I have quite a daunting challenge this evening, to go and learn a "new skill" - we'll see how it goes... |
