Dishwasher commits to:
I commit to working at least 165 dish shifts at Ruby Tuesday’s or until 3/19/23, whichever is longer, broken into 18-week periods. A subset of this is a guarantee of 50 (or more) shifts by 5/8/22. Quitting the restaurant or failing to fulfill the requirements laid out in a contract signed 1/1/22 incurs the penalty. Dates for re-upping are: 5/10/22; 9/13/22; 1/17/23 and 3/21/23. Penalties that add shifts extend the contract in 9 or 18-week increments until all shifts are worked.

| I have osteoporosis and my doctor recommended weight bearing exercise to strengthen my bones.. Working 6 hours a shift three nights a week as a dishwasher is an acceptable alternative to joining a gym, and even better: I get paid and fed! But it's a crummy job and interferes with my social life, so.... I have guaranteed the restaurant that I will work there at least 2 years and will give about 15% of my earnings to charity. To avoid the temptation of bailing out, I have set up this contract, renewable 4-months at a time. I plan to add a manager from the restaurant as a referee. | |
