I’ve been saving well. Andrew and I just went on vacation, so there was quite a bit of spending on food and souvenirs. Aside from the trip, I’ve been doing a good job with my savings. |

I had some discretionary spending last week (buying Andrew a Porsche), and I bought some Adisa’s running shoes that were on sale on Amazon. I’m saving them until December, and I’ll wear them for my half. I also saved $400 and put it into my money market account. I’ll be sending an extra $400 to one of my student loans this month as well. |

August has been an expensive month. I tithed and bought tons of groceries. I also did a little more superfluous spending than normal (buying some weights and a Lego set for me and Andrew :)). I will still be able to save $400 or so this month, so that’s definitely a win! |

Last week was expensive because of tithing and some other necessary expenditures (groceries for a weekend with Andrew and gas, etc.). I've done well with not spending money on superfluous things. I did buy some new weight-training things. September will be a good month because I get paid three times. I'll have plenty left over to put extra money towards one of my student loans. |
