I was more anxious than usual. I told myself she was going to reject me and I would be anxious the whole time and that that was ok. I think setting the bar lower helped me not fear the outcome as much and gave me more motivation. I "threw the grenade" and just told her she was attractive and if she had a boyfriend. She was taken, but she seemed to appreciate the compliment, which made me feel better. Maybe I should start with a compliment more often. |
