| I have yet another week to mark as successful – looking back at this past month’s goal of paying cash it has allowed me to truly pay down my debt. In the past, I have continued to pay the same amount towards debt but the balance doesn’t decrease as much as it should because I am continuing to spend. So now seeing the results of paying cash – I have again paid the same amount towards debt but my balance went down by the amount that I expected it to. This is so exciting! I still have so much to go but this is definitely progress. I am going to make this goal again since it seems to work for now and I think I am going to keep the goals at one month intervals so they are small steps but they are steps that are making an impact! | |

| 3rd week in and I am still going strong. By paying with cash I have completely stopped using my credit cards which has allowed me to start feeling like I am actually making progress towards paying down my debt and I am starting to feel really good about that. | |

| This past week has been really fun paying for everything in cash. When I do pay for something I always use bills and if there is any left over change I add that to a coin jar that I am collecting on the side. Once that is full I will figure out what I want to do with that money whether it be to go buy something out of the ordinary or put that amount towards my debt. So I actually look forward to getting change back knowing that it is adding up for another time! | |
