It was another tough week! With the holiday, work requirements, and school work due this week, I struggled (again.) I did manage to get all my strength training workouts in, and the workouts themselves are becoming easier. If only I could find a way to add more time into my days! |

I had a good week despite being thrown a few curve balls! Severe weather shut down the cross fit gym (box) on Saturday forcing me to find an alternative (which I did not want to do, but I did do it.) I also was able to run more this week in addition to the strength training, which made me happier. I'm very much looking forward to cutting down to four days of strength training! |

This week felt easier! I admittedly cut down on my running to make it easier to complete my strength workouts (which doesn't make me happy,) but I didn't feel like I was struggling to fit everything in this week. I enjoyed the new class experience, and while it may just be wishful thinking, I'm starting to feel stronger. |

I achieved my goal for this week. It was not easy, and I admit that making the requirement 5 days may have been overreaching. I will continue doing it for the 8 weeks of the commitment, but after it ends, I will probably drop back to 3 or 4 days! I did not do strength training last Sunday (June 7) or Tuesday (June 9.) I ran a half marathon on Friday, so having to add in strength training was a bit rough! (Laziness on Tuesday was the issue.) This next week, I plan on attending two different classes (TRX and endurance crossfit), and I hope the variation of workouts will keep me motivated (but not too sore to complete all 5 days.) |
