Stiiiiiill going. Still around 20 in a row. |

Still struggling to get past 15 or so military push-ups with not so great form, but I'm not feeling discouraged. I moved up 20lbs on the dip/pull-up machine, boxing is an incredible workout, and I love the Dojo where I'm learning Karate. |

Still going well! I can now do 10-20 military push-ups! Boxing class is definitely helping with my upper body strength; we do all sorts of planks and push-up drills. I've been there tuesday and thursday every week (including tonight) for three weeks now. I also started Shorin Ryu Matsumura Kenpo (Okinawan Karate) on Wednesdays. I might do strength on mondays and fridays, but also kep reminding myself that studies show you need about 20 minutes of moderate activity a day to be healthy, or 30 minutes of heavier cardio three days a week and two days of strength. That's sustainable; it won't interfere with work or school, and I won't feel prompted to overeat. Exercise is not the key to weight-loss. |

Today I did 15 standard military push-ups. Feeling good about it; my lungs aren't the best right now as I can't get my asthma pills until I get paid on the first. 0 to 15 in about a month is pretty good as I see it. I think my goal will be 25-40 by the end of September. |
