krakenca commits to:
1) Take no more than 4 trades per day
2) Gross P&L must not exceed $130 per contract 3) If a trade is taken between 9AM and 9:30AM ET and it results in a loss, do not take any more trades till 9:27AM ET 4) If the trade is not panning out as expected, flatten the position

Oh I see. It's okay, you got 6/7 weeks, that's a good start for your commitment! It was also probably harder because you were dabbing in new territory. Getting a coach might be a good idea. Though I do hope that the coach will be a good one and won't end up being a negative influence. Yay go Nilay!!! :D |

| It's not easy to admit this but the truth is that I broke my rules this week. My patience and discipline eventually caved. I started experimenting in foreign territory, outside my circle of competence, in an attempt to extract profits out of the market (NOT a good idea). This was no minor violation. There were multiple days where my losses were in the range of $200 to $300. In hindsight, I should have exercised caution and avoided trading altogether. I think the frustration of not being able to extract profits out of the market got to me. I also think that the skype group of traders that I am a part of was a negative influence. I noticed that people in the group were doing well and that compounded the frustration. I'm going to get myself a coach so I can get better at this. | |

| Only a couple of days of trading this week. Couldn't pay much attention to the markets for the rest of the week. Unfortunately, I'm going to be in training 4 out of 5 days next week so I'm most likely not going to be trading. | |

Net negative for the week but I stuck to my rules. Had some trouble seizing opportunities as I had meetings or I was away from my desk when a compelling opportunity presented itself. In all honesty, I made a few trade selection and trade entry blunders that are to be blamed as well. It is hardest to stick to the rules when you're under water. However, I absolutely hate not being able to stay disciplined. That will always outweigh my itch to break a rule

It feels like I have successfully created this good habit. It's no longer hard for me to follow my rules. The rules also help me really think before I take any trade and force me to participate only in compelling opportunities
