interim mp3 and reading goal

Between now and bedtime, tonight, I choose to do recreational reading only between 6:30pm and 7:30pm or after dance class but before 11:15pm, and I choose to use my mp3 player only in those same time windows. I choose to explore my mindset about job activities and to experiment towards more personally ecological ways of feeling comfortable and satisfied.

| Mixed results on this goal. On the downside, I went spent something like two hours of the afternoon escaping into Google-browsing, and I went past 11:15 to 11:30 on the late recreational reading. I didn't do much conscious exploration or experimentation. But, on the upside, I got some good work done despite allowing myself some recreational reading before setting the goal, and I chose to pull out of recreational reading only 15 minutes past the deadline. No mp3 use. So: another failure, but constructive. | |
