doing my recreational and non-work project reading only during the following times, this week:
MWF: mp3 player and hard-copy only between 6:30pm and 10:30pm, internet/saved electronic only between 9:30pm and 10:30pm. Tue: mp3 player and hard-copy only between 5:30pm and 10:30pm, internet/saved electronic only between 9:30pm and 10:30pm. Thur: mp3 player and hard-copy only between 6:30pm and 11:15pm, internet/saved electronic only between 10:45pm and 11:15pm. SS: no restrictions on mp3 player use or hard-copy reading, internet/saved electronic only between 8:30pm and 10:30pm. Exceptions: I can do losf reading, los posting, and photography posting at any time when the computer is on. Related: I will not disable Chronager or circumvent LeechBlock unless there is a compelling job reason to do so.

| Hm. Hardcopy binge on 8/29, while unwise, doesn't actually conflict with the terms of the goal. Think I'll actually call this one a success. | |

| Did pretty well with this on 8/28, though, again, some of my late-evening reading was borderline recreational. did will on this for most of 8/29, but binged on hard-copy recreational reading in the late evening and the small hours. Note for the future: do not bring recreational hard-copy reading to the computer for my recreational reading time-window there--too easy to pick it up when the computer shuts down, instead of starting the transition towards bed. | |

| Did pretty well with this goal on 8/27/09. Got close to the line re hard-copy reading after 11:15pm -- did a little TeachCo essay reading, for example. Didn't have lights out until 1:45am, but some of that time was allowed non-reading, including, to my surprise, making a little music on the kalimba. First time in ages for that. | |
