1. Do what matters most first (for me, this is writing, performing, having difficult conversations, helping people grow, spending time with people who are fun and engaging) 2. Always enter the ring with your head held high. If Harry Potter can do it when he's about to face Voldemort for the last time, then you can do it too! Never complain because you have it really good. Always go in with a positive attitude. You will work better, feel better, and be more creative. You will also have a better chance of having a positive impact on the people around you. 3. "Everything that can be controlled should be controlled."( -Magnus Nilsson) Everything else can be ignored. 4. Be present. Don't rush. 5. Remember that you matter. It's important to be thoughtful and kind to the people around you and it's equally as important that you be thoughtful and kind to yourself. |
