Finally some progress on the scale. |

It was a tough weekend eatingwise, but I managed ok.
Went to see the orthopedician on Wednesday, she confirmed I have Mortons neuroma and I will need to have special insoles, but as suspected no surgery necessary. So now I know and I have started taking shorter walks (finally) to start moving again. Feels great, esp as the weather is much nicer now. Spring is finally here! |

So a week ago, I wrote about this mental shift. Since then, I have been feeling better, and eating better. Almost no sugar, and almost no pasta. Smaller amounts of bread and potatoes. Lots of veggies and protein. Lots of carrots for snacks. No chocolate, no Nutella, no peanuts or crisps. Feeling good and I have lost 0.6 kgs in a week. I know this can vary but at least it's in the right direction after gaining during every week for several weeks now.
I still can't walk properly, but I am seeing a specialist/orthopedist on Wednesday, I am happy that I am finally doing this. |

I will read more about nervous system regulation - I think this may help, but I have been so busy. However, today I achieved something/came to the happy end of a process. It has not been too much work, but it had to take its time and has been on my mind. And now it's accomplished and I can just leave it.
And next week, I am attending the final meeting w/the kids club and then I am stepping down from the board. i feel great about this. |
