Decreasing in yelling at my children for unnessesary reasons. Yelling can be defined as " raising my voice, shouting, or screaming. Unacceptable reasons for yelling could be: sibling fights, taking too long on a task, making a mess, being "sassy", etc...

4/8 - Today was a great day. I had an OB appt in the morning and got a good report. I took the day off and took my youngest to the zoo and had a great time together. It as a very calm day! 4/9 - Today the girls helped me make dinner and we had a great time. I got frustrated a few times but as able to keep my calm and remind them of their expectations in the kitchen. 4/10 - I went shopping and had a nice time by myself while the girls were home with Daddy in the evening. When I got home we played some games and tucked the girls in for bed. 4/11 - My husband and I went on a date to a baseball game while grandma watched the kids. A stress-free evening! 4/12 - I got up Sat morning and took the girls to the zoo. We had a great time walking through the exhibits and taking our time. We got slushies on the way home for their great job listening and obeying. 4/13 - We went to church and then out for lunch with Grandma. I raised my voice to the girls while out to lunch because their behavior while eating was terrible and they were not listening. I calmed down quickly tho. 4/14 - This evening the girls helped make dinner again and did a great job helping in the kitchen. I did get frustrated and raised my voice when they were not listening while standing near the stove. I also became frustrated when Chloie did not eat her dinner, but calmed down after prompting from my husband. |

I forgot to post my notes from my notebook last week before the deadline, so I have included them here with this weeks. Last week: 3/24 - today I went without any major conflicts or issues! Good day! 3/25 - Today was rough, I was not feeling well and got very upset with the girls today twice. Hoping for a better day tomorrow. 3/26 - Today was a much better day than yesterday! Still not feeling well but I was able to be much more patient than yesterday. I did end up at the hospital with preterm labor symptoms. 3/27 - Today was tough as ell, I have had to limit my activity and increase my water intake due to pegnancy issues and it is very frustrating. I was able to go without yelling though, so thats a positive. 3/28 - Today was exhausting! But I was able to refrain from yelling. 3/29 - Today I am thankful for a helpful husband who helps with the girls when I am feeling overwhelmed. Today was successful int he sense I didn't yell, but I had a lot of help from my husband. 3/30 - today was not as good of a day. I became frustrated in the car and raised my voice to the kids. Only one incident thought! 3/31 - Today was a good day. The girls had good days at school and I was able to get some work ne around the house. This week's: 4/1 - Today was my birthday! It was a good day filled with fun and help from my husband. 4/2 - Today I was successful again, I was able to control my frustration with the girls after school before dinner. 4/3 - Today I had one incident while trying to get dinner ready and the girls were being wild. I apologized afterwards and we were better the rest of the night. 4/4 - Today was my oldest daughter's 7th birthday. It was a fun day, but very stressful, as we had a slumber party with friends. I made it through the day! 4/5 - Today we had a party with my daughters classmates for her birthday, and I was able to control my self when feeling overwhelmed. 4/6 - Today was my husband's birthday! We had a great day! 4/7 - Today was a busy day but I was able to keep my cool throughout the day. |
