I had a good week of social engagement. I do much better when I start earlier, so I have to encourage myself do it as soon as I have down time and not wait until later in the evening. Something else I'm working on is my outreach strategy to make connecting better/easier. I'm looking for more coaching opportunities, so I have to make sure I'm leading conversations towards that outcome. This coming week will be a good experiment of this, as I plan to reach out to at least ten people per day.

I find that when I jump on it earlier in the day, it's easier to complete. When I wait -- that's when my mind kicks in to tell me not to do the work. The work itself isn't hard, but the stories that pop up in my brain make it most challenging. But, improving my timing and systems is helping.

I did 60 minutes per day, but they felt hard! I haven't found a routine/rhythm yet at this volume, as there are now additional items I'm looking to accomplish. I will work on this for this upcoming week. I'm also learning how to stay in the activity even if it feels uncomfortable. When I have times I don't want to even do it, I still have to push myself to do what I know is important.

I failed on both Monday and Friday... I chose to push my task off until the very last second. Instead of taking care of it at my coworking space, I chose to try completing it at home. Sadly, at home, my time was not my own this week--those evenings were monopolized by arguments/conversations with my girlfriend. I can be mad at her and/or the situation, but I'll take responsibility for procrastinating and not taking care of business earlier in the week. The task itself isn't challenging once I get down to it, and I found joy in the action and the process. So, there's a clear route to success this upcoming week, and I intend to have a positive report.
