Sunday 02-16-2014 - Day 42
Athletic Greens and Green drink (1 T Chlorophyll, 1 T aloe vera)

Breakfast – Blueberry Protein Pancakes w/1 tsp butter (10.3 g sugar), 2 slices bacon

Telemark skied for 2 hours with kiddos, so not really any workout

Lunch –hamburger and 1 of the leftover blueberry protein pancakes

snack – 1/4 c. white rice

Dinner – 4 oz. ground turkey, 1 c mixed greens, 1/4 c. homemade guacamole, 1/4 c. salsa (1 g sugar)

Total Sugar – 11.3 g sugar
Water 85 oz.

Saturday 02-15-2014 - Day 41
Athletic Greens and Green drink (1 T Chlorophyll, 1 T aloe vera)

Breakfast – 3 eggs, 3 strawberries

smoothie – 1 c. spinach, 1/4 c. blueberries, 1 c. almond milk, 2 T protein powder (7.4 g sugar)

Lunch –3 oz. chicken, 1/3 c. white rice cooked in homemade chicken stock

Workout - Workout - Heavy Upper Body Pulling Lat Pull Down ( 85 lbs), Seated Rows (85 lbs), DB Bent Over Rows – 20’s, Alternating Hammer Curls 15’s. LOVED total body bootcamp even though I sucked at it. I’m terrible at afternoon workouts and was definitely bonking. Used 15’s for the DB bent over row wide grip. My squat thrusts must’ve looked hilarious last 5 were definitely slow motion. I totally forgot to time how long the 2 sets took me, but I did it and am sad I missed it last Saturday. Probably my favorite workout of the entire session so far. 45 minutes of cardio split between treadmill and spin bike. Hip is on the verge of hurting again, so had to move off treadmill to spin bike at about 15 minutes in.

smoothie – 1 c. spinach, 1/2 c. mixed berries, 1 c. almond milk, 2 T protein powder (5.5 g sugar)

Dinner – REWARD MEAL – 4 slices bacon, 5 oz. steak,1/2 c. diced potatoes w/olive oil, 1/4 c. asparagus, 2 gluten-free brownies, 6 oz. non-fat chai tea, 2 glasses red wine (I know horrible choice for intestines, but mentally they did me a world of good!)

Total Sugar – No idea because of the brownies – don’t want to think about it!
Water 85 oz. – I feel like I’m rationing to stay under 100 oz. Especially with any kind of workouts.

My intestines were AWESOME today. Hope I’ve turned the corner. Still going to try to do gentle foods, cooked veggies, etc., but excited to try a few more things tomorrow. Yippee!!!!!
