| What a difficult week! Two eye surgeries, making it near impossible to see, plus challenging meetings and assignments. Got the head screwed on. Looking forward to lots of plain protein and veggies this week. Also the pool. | |

| Back to tracking. I simply cannot/do not resist good (fattening) food when there's nothing else available. OK, I binged. Next week I WILL be successful! | |

| Whew! By a whisker. I KNOW from so much previous experience that my weight loss is extremely SLOW: age (77), height (5'1-½"), gender (female) -- just slow metabolism despite quite a large amount of exercise. So...this particular pace seems to be working. But it's hard! | |
