I aim to regularly get a good night's sleep by avoiding stimulation and exertion 1.5hrs before sleep. This precludes work and screen use, engaging instead in restful and mindful activity such as reading fiction. 8.5 hours will be allotted for sleep every night; measured from first going to bed till morning alarm, with no snoozing permitted. This will be from 10:30pm - 7am (preferred). Less than 8.5 hours is permissible only once a week, and will be made up the next day in napping / dozing time
